– Water is our life – it's our jobs and it's our food –

The Environmentalists are destroying this country and millions of lives with it.

Because of them and their little delta smelt fish, water was literally shut off to farms in central California, one the richest agricultural regions in the country.

Unemployment rates are now 40% because of the water being shut off. Hundreds of acres of crops are now dead. One million acres of fields and orchards also have no above ground water supply. People have to go to food banks for food. Fruits and vegetable prices have skyrocketed in central California.

Environmentalists are tripping over themselves to preserve every species that crawls, squirms, swims or flys (sic) but they are content to let humans die," claimed Nunes. " And now they have a government that agrees with them. This Congress and our President have chosen fish over people in my state."

– Obfuscation –

Here comes Harry Reid and his Energy and Climate legislation Bill. Just call it what it is – a huge tax on energy that will hit all of us. Yet the kool-aid drinkers still parrot Obama's lies about taxes not increasing for those who make less that $250,000.

So, does that mean that you, Obama, will pay my new electric and gas bills? Will you pick up the tab for gasoline and diesel fuel too?

I thought not – so you ARE a liar.

Senator Reid’s twenty-pound bill will be laden with lofty language about “clean energy,” energy conservation, “green jobs,” reducing “dangerous” power plant emissions, ending our “addiction” to oil, creating a renewable economy, and saving the planet from “imminent climate disaster.”

And all that climate crap is just that – crap.

The IPCC Lies.

Suppressed Climate Report

– Dire Straights –

So, what is in our future as Obama and his minions impose their will on us. From the June 17 report by Charles River Associates:

tri Increase average gasoline and diesel prices by up to 80% in five years, and 170% within ten years – sending regular gasoline prices soaring to nearly $5 per gallon by 2020 and $7.50 per gallon by 2025 (assuming other international price pressures remain unchanged);

tri Spur sharp cost increases for petrochemicals in plastics, pharmaceuticals and other vital products;

tri Reduce employment and consumer demand significantly, by increasing the cost of transporting people, equipment, supplies, raw materials, food and finished products – for work, school, healthcare, business, manufacturing, vacation and other purposes;

tri Cut business investment by $200-320 billion annually, compared to the no-LCFS baseline;

tri Slash gross domestic product by $410-750 billion annually by 2025;

tri Cost 2.3 million to 4.5 million American jobs, including up to 1.5 million in manufacturing and 3.0 million in the service sector; and

tri Force household purchasing power downward by $1,400 to $2,400 for a family of four by 2025 – impacting minority, elderly and other low and fixed income families worst of all.

Be alert. Speak out. And beware of energy and climate dictators and charlatans, and any lame duck session that may come after citizens vote to replace many of the control freaks on Capitol Hill.

Summer of Depression

No Comments

September 5, 2010 at 8:10 amCategory:Obama

The longer President Obama refuses to acknowledge the direction of our nation's economy the greater the coming depression will be. For someone who has had the advantages of an Ivy League education, he seems to be an excessively poor student of history.

– President Obama is ignoring the very real direction the nation is headed.
– He is purposefully ignoring the impact his looming historic tax increases will have.

He just does not want to see the relationship between his economic ideas and the current pessimism that pervades the business sector. Just what are they teaching in Economics classes in those Ivy League institutions?

So this week, Obama played the numbers game again. He said that August saw jobs growth of 67,000. But there are problems with that figure…

Even if this number was real (which it is not) it would be a miniscule number of the 14,885,000 unemployed (1 in 10 Americans) plus another  23,768,000 who are underemployed (working but not earning enough for basic needs – 1 in 5 families).

But that 67,000 number isn't even real!  114,000 people were added to the unemployment lines in August and the net jobs lost for the month sat at 54,000.

This "summer of recovery" is a farce and bold-faced LIE.  238,000 more jobs disappeared.  What kind of "recovery" is that? More people out of work!

He keeps saying we are moving in the right direction. Job loss and economic grow in a downward trend is the "right direction"? Is he dumb or is he deliberately plotting the destruction of our economy? Neither option is good.
At the rate of this "recovery" another 317,333 workers will lose their jobs by the end of the year.

Adding to the problem, now Obama wants the largest increase in taxes. In less than 120 days President Obama's plan to add a collective 18.6% to the federal tax burden will continue the economic downward spiral into record breaking depression-era territory.

And remember he repeatedly said–on the campaign trail–that he should be elected expressly to prevent the nation's economy from complete deterioration.

He also lied about no tax increases ("one single dime") for those making less than $250,000.

As of Jan 01 2011, President Obama will raise all five income levels of tax categories between 3-5%.

That's a whole lot of dimes.

Taxed Enough Already

liar liar

Big Government has grabbed themselves more and more power in dictating to us what we can and cannot drive, eat, read, use, etc.

Government is growing. The private economy is shrinking. Economic growth has slowed to a crawl.

Obama and his legion of minions are taking more and more of our lives away from us, to regulate and tax, even down to what we choose to drink!

This past week new rules governing our credit cards kicked in, following passage of the Credit Card Accountability and Responsibility Act, signed into law last year.

The point of the CARD Act is to protect us consumers from the scheming bankers from whom we get our credit cards.

Have you checked your credit card interest rates?

Who will protect us from scheming politicians? From the power-grabbers? From the ego maniacs?

As usual, the Wolf-In-Chief cannot see beyond the end of his own nose and despite constant reminders that no one making less that $250,000 (or $200,000 – it keeps changing) will pay more in taxes — the taxes on the poorer people keep going up!

First it was the cigarette tax. Now who is affected here? Not those making more than $250,000!

Then his stupid credit card "reform" has resulted in all of us paying higher interest rates. Oh yeah, that's a big saving.

Healthcare "reform" has resulted in much higher insurance premiums for those who can least afford it.

Brace yourself for that insane Cap and Trade that will make you pay 10 times your current electric bill. Another great saving for us who make way less than $250,000.

And stop blaming the companies and business. It is your fault Obama, plain and simple.

Just leave us alone.

Obama’s Greed

Greedy Government Greedy Obama

When Obama is not blaming George Bush for his troubles, it is those Evil, Greedy Corporations who are at fault for whatever.

But listen to why Bogen Communications is not hiring:

My company has to write checks for $74,000 so Sally can receive her nominal $59,000 in base pay. Health insurance is a big, added cost: While Sally pays nearly $2,400 for coverage, my company pays the rest — $9,561 for employee/spouse medical and dental. We also provide company-paid life and other insurance premiums amounting to $153. Altogether, company-paid benefits add $9,714 to the cost of employing Sally.

Then the federal and state governments want a little something extra. They take $56 for federal unemployment coverage, $149 for disability insurance, $300 for workers' comp and $505 for state unemployment insurance. Finally, the feds make me pay $856 for Sally's Medicare and $3,661 for her Social Security.

When you add it all up, it costs $74,000 to put $44,000 in Sally's pocket and to give her $12,000 in benefits. Bottom line: Governments impose a 33% surtax on Sally's job each year.

Because my company has been conscripted by the government and forced to serve as a tax collector, we have lost control of a big chunk of our cost structure. Tax increases, whether cloaked as changes in unemployment or disability insurance, Medicare increases or in any other form can dramatically alter our financial situation. With government spending and deficits growing as fast as they have been, you know that more tax increases are coming — for my company, and even for Sally too.

— Michael P. Fleischer, president of Bogen Communications Inc. in Ramsey, N.J.

So who is really the Greedy one here?

Taxation

The Government is taking over industries, over regulating, and generally expanding like a bloated stinking fish.  Obama stinking fish

After forcing their healthcare upon us, they are gunning for more of the same.  In the cooker now: another crappy climate bill, which really is another taxation.

What happened to the no one's taxes will go up "one single dime"?  I know I am paying more for all sorts of goods and services because of his ego and hubris.  And it will get lots worse folks. Lots worse.

Senators Lindsey Graham and Joseph Lieberman outlined U.S. climate-change legislation that would have power companies buy and sell pollution rights in a carbon market and force oil companies to pay fixed fees for emissions.

While the bill is "a work in progress" and won’t be ready until next month, emissions from utilities will be regulated through a restricted trading system for pollution rights.

The whole thing is asinine and especially so since the planet has been COOLING for the past 15 years.

Is no one else pissed off about this crap?

Climate Crap Links

So Al Gore, the debate is NOT over. While you got fat off this hype you fed us, the free ride is OVER! Talk about Fat Cats!

Suppressed Climate Report (shocker!)

Demand Obama and all his cronies stop that insane taxation policy on energy. Do you really want your electric rates to "skyrocket" as Obama promised?

There is NO Global Warming, yet we are still in the Looking Glass world where climate terrorists are demanding we pay "climate debt". There is no climate debt, so shut up.

And yet it still continues. The Obfuscation and Obnubilation.

The IPCC Lies.

And let's not forget the stupid ideas they are really considering!

WH Taxes Health Care

No Comments

October 26, 2009 at 9:02 amCategory:Health Care

We are getting more and more information from those who are actually reading that monstrosity of a health care bill. The Senate bill has tons of taxes on medical devices.  They seem to think that we regular folks don't deserve such frivolous luxuries as pacemakers, stents, artificial heart valves, defibrillators, automated wheelchairs, mechanized artificial limbs, replacement hips and knees, surgical gurneys, laparoscopic equipment, and the like. They are taxing them!  Like stuff isn't expensive enough?  And then they have the nerve to point fingers at insurance companies? Who is really taking advantage of the sick here?

And here is the evolution of this dumbass idea…

The medical device industry had its day at the White House as did the insurance industry, the drug makers, the nurses, and the doctors.  Each group was bombarded with demands for voluntary cuts in their health care costs and support Obama's proposed changes — in return for assurances that Congress would not impose deeper cuts (or, in the case of the doctors, that it would actually rescind cuts already scheduled under current statutes).

But, unlike all these other groups, the medical device industry refused the deal. This posture enraged the tyrants in the White House who vowed to punish the industry with cuts imposed by Congress.  The result was a decision by the revenue-hungry Senate Finance Committee to extract billions in funds from the industry.

The legislation does not work like a sales or excise tax.  Rather it follows the model of the punitive tobacco settlement imposed on cigarette companies in the 90s.  It assesses an industry-wide payment which firms must make in proportion to their market share.  It bars the them from passing along the cost of the assessment by charging more for certain basic products, but allows them to raise the price of others to raise the funds for the fee.

So, the result will be that virtually every piece of advanced surgical equipment will be subject to a price increase to meet the levy from Washington. No matter that these devices often make the difference between life and death and that, in effect, taxing them raises the cost of vital treatments.  The vengeful White House will have its pound of flesh from the medical device industry for daring to be independent and to refuse to knuckle down to Administration pressure!

….and meanwhile, 14 Americans died today in Afghanistan. You would think he would get off the pot and send backup over there.
