Ground Zero Imam Claims Attack Will Come if He Doesn't Build Mosque

Ah, so now we are to be blackmailed and threatened into silence while these Muslims take over our country!

I say Bring It On! It is time to stand up and stop being a doormat.

I will not be dictated to while you steal my country out from under me. You want sharia? Go to Saudi Arabia! It's not like there is no place for Muslims to go. There are countless countries all based on Islam. Go there. Be happy.

The President of the United States of America is a dishonest man. He is also a poor excuse for a constitutional law scholar. Both of these accusations can be supported by looking at his handling of the recent controversies involving the Ground Zero mosque and an unhinged pastor’s planned burning of the Koran.

When the Ground Zero mosque controversy broke out, President Obama had this to say about religious freedom:

“As a citizen, and as President, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as everyone else in this country. And that includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in Lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances. This is America. And our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakable. The principle that people of all faiths are welcome in this country and that they will not be treated differently by their government is essential to who we are.”

A few weeks later, when the Koran-burning controversy broke out, President Obama had this to say about religious freedom:

"If he's listening, I hope he understands that what he’s proposing to do is completely contrary to our values as Americans. That this country has been built on the notion of freedom and religious tolerance.”

What the President should have said was that Muslims a) Have a legal right to engage in offensive religious expression by building a mosque near Ground Zero but that b) It would be a very bad idea to do so because it would make Muslims look like uncouth barbarians.

The President could have then maintained consistency by saying that Christians a) Have a legal right to engage in offensive religious expression by burning the Koran but that b) It would be a very bad idea to do so because it would make Christians look like uncouth barbarians.

Instead, Obama took the position that the Mosque building is a form of free religious expression while the Koran burning is an attack on free religious expression. Is there any explanation for holding these two positions simultaneously? Sure there is.

The common thread between Obama’s two positions is favoritism of Islam. Barack Obama was educated in a Koranic school as a child in Indonesia. He subsequently claimed to have rejected Islam in favor of Christianity in what some consider to have been an insincere political move. That may sound harsh but consider this alternative: If Obama actually did convert to Christianity, the document he defends, The Koran, would call for his execution.

Hmmmm.

Audacity of Smoke

Shhhhhhh, we're told. Don't protest the Ground Zero mosque. Don't burn a Koran. It'll imperil the troops. It'll inflame tensions. The "Muslim world" will "explode" if it does not get its way, warns sharia-peddling imam Feisal Abdul Rauf. Pardon my national security-threatening impudence, but when is the "Muslim world" not ready to "explode"?

At the risk of provoking the ever-volatile Religion of Perpetual Outrage, let us count the little-noticed and forgotten ways.

Just a few months ago in Kashmir, faithful Muslims rioted over what they thought was a mosque depicted on underwear sold by street vendors. The mob shut down businesses and clashed with police over the blasphemous skivvies. But it turned out there was no need for Allah's avengers to get their holy knickers in a bunch. The alleged mosque was actually a building resembling London's St. Paul's Cathedral. A Kashmiri law enforcement official later concluded the protests were "premeditated and organized to vitiate the atmosphere."

Non-Muslims are barred from entering the cities of Mecca and Medina (forget about building synagogues or churches!) because according to the Koran, their infidel feet are unfit to touch the ground. This is not an al-Qaeda principle. Nor is it an “Islamist” principle. It is Islam, pure and simple.

“Truly the pagans are unclean,” instructs the Koran’s Sura 9:28, “so let them not . . . approach the Sacred Mosque.” This attitude is enforced, not by jihadist terrorists (though them too), but by the Saudi government. And it is enforced not because of some eccentric sense of Saudi nationalism. The only law of Saudi Arabia is sharia, the law of Islam.

Sunni scholarly commentary in the version of the Koran officially produced by the Saudi government explains, only Muslims are sufficiently “strict in cleanliness, as well as in purity of mind and heart, so that their word can be relied upon.” Thus, only they may enter the holy cities.

Shiite teaching is quite an insight: Iraq’s “moderate” Ayatollah Ali Sistani explains the touching of non-Muslims is discouraged, because they are considered to be in the same “unclean” category as “urine, feces, semen, dead bodies, blood, dogs, pigs, alcoholic liquors, and the sweat of an animal who persistently eats [unclean things].”

Hey, I am honored to be compared to a dog. I should have such a pure heart and offer the unconditional love that they give us every day.

And Obama continues to kiss their butt. The Greek Orthodox church which WAS DESTROYED in the attack is not being allowed to rebuild!  Why?  Where is the religious freedom?

And still the media is "preaching" to us about religious tolerance. Where is the Muslim tolerance? Oh yeah. They have NONE!

We build monuments to events. Muslims build monuments on top of conquered places. Look it up. It is true. And "Cordoba" is one of those built on top of a church in Spain.

And this one here is another "Cordoba" to mark the conquest of….? Is not their dedication date of September 11, 2011 say it all? Why this location and why that date?

Build a dog kennel there. They make better neighbors.

There Are None So Blind

     Evidence continues to mount showing that the developer of the proposed mega-mosque at Ground Zero, Abdul Faisal Rauf, is untrustworthy at best, and possibly downright dangerous. The project would be called Cordoba House, named for a Spanish city conquered by the Moors which Muslims regard as a model for other communities.

Rauf’s political/religious vision is intimately connected with Malaysia, where he lived for ten years as a youngster and where he now owns a home and bases his policy-making organization, the Cordoba Initiative, which also has an office in Manhattan. Malaysian officials have come out with statements that are virulently anti-American and anti-Semitic, including explicit calls for jihad and suicide bombing. Rauf claims that he intends to build bridges between the West and Muslims, yet he has never made any public statement objecting to such incitement.

Previously unpublished English translations of sermons from Malaysia’s Department of Islamic Development reveal potentially lethal levels of hostility towards the West that appear to have gone unnoticed. The Department of Islamic Development cannot be dismissed as some renegade fringe group. It is an official and intrinsic part of the Malaysian government, similar in function to the Department of Health and Human Services in the United States. On its website, the Department defines itself thusly:  “Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) is a Malaysian Government institution which has a vision to assist in the creation of a progressive and morally upright ummah based on Islamic principles in line with the Malaysian vision through an efficient and effective Islamic Affairs Management organisation.” JAKIM is an acronym for Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia.

Every Friday, the Muslim holy day, sermons (khutbahs) are given in mosques. During Israel’s Cast Lead operation in January 2009, when Israel entered Gaza to stop being bombarded with rockets, the khutbahs of Malaysia’s Department of Islamic Development became warlike.

On January 9, 2009, the khutbah denounced Israel as “evil” and a call was made to use the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to channel financial assistance to the Palestinians. A boycott was demanded of all goods and services connected with both Israel and America. Countries that are part of the Organization of the Islamic Conference and all other Muslims were urged to stop using the American dollar as currency.

Imam Khalid Latif, a chaplain for New York University and the New York Police Department, recently appeared on CNN. He suggested that the New York public schools should close for at least two important Muslim holidays each year. I could not agree more.

However, I would alter Latif's suggestion slightly. We should treat the various Muslim holidays as we have the birthdays of American presidents with the singular Presidents' Day. My recommendation: we roll all the Muslim holidays into one National Muslim Day and celebrate it on September 11 each year. The New York schools can then follow suit along with the rest of the country.

For the inaugural National Muslim Day, President Obama and the mayor of New York can offer inspiring words from the newly proposed $100MM Cordoba Center located a few hundred feet from Ground Zero in the former Burlington Coat Factory whose roof was battered and beaten with burning debris from the collapsing Twin Towers.

The Cordoba Institute will place a 13-story mosque, gym, bookstore, and meeting place in the shadow of the unfortunate man-caused disaster in Manhattan. This location seems most fitting for the new holiday's festivities, given the Islamic invasion and takeover of the original Cordoba in the eighth century.   [Gee, see a pattern here??]

One of the Islamic conquerors' first acts was to “convert” the Christian Church of Saint Vincent there into the Great Mosque of Cordoba as a symbol of Muslim conquest and rule. In other words, we destroy your iconic symbols and replace them with ours, kind of like what is happening at Ground Zero right now. Perfect place for the headlining events of National Muslim Day.
