Current Rules of Engagement Kill Our Soldiers
The anguished mother of an American soldier killed in Afghanistan said "We need a Warrior, not a Flower Child" about President Barack Obama. She objects to the rules of engagement, which she feels caused her son's death.
The recent Rolling Stone piece featuring Gen. Stanley McChrystal, showed huge and widespread troop disapproval of these rules, designed to minimize civilian casualties but which increase the danger to coalition soldiers in the field.
Obama criticized George Bush on neglecting Afghanistan, but then spent three months "thinking" (or who knows what) before sending troops to McCrystal. Then he turns around and announces the date of troop withdrawal. huh?
Yeah, so goes his schizophrenic war — the one he called "the war of necessity." So now he is conducting a half-assed war, killing off our own troops.
His Incompetence just grows and grows.
Does Obama believe this war must be fought? Candidate Obama called a nuclear Iran "unacceptable." Yet CIA Director Leon Panetta admits that the recently announced "tough" sanctions will not stop Iran's nuclear program. So the Obama administration accepts the eventuality of a nuclear Iran and has shifted to a policy of management and containment — the opposite of what Obama promised during his campaign for president.
His Lies just grow and grow.
