In the past, Reuters has doctored some of their photos to slant more pro-Arab and anti-Israel.

And they have been caught again, this time the faked the truth regarding the Turkish Flotilla incident where Israeli soldiers were beaten and stabbed.   Note the vanishing knife!

Talk About SPIN!

Peace Flotilla? No, They Were Invoking Kill the Jews

On the day before the Gaza flotilla confronted the Israeli navy, Al-Jazeera TV documented the pre-battle atmosphere created by men on board the flotilla, who chanted a well-known Islamic battle cry invoking the killing and defeat of Jews in battle:

"[Remember] Khaibar, Khaibar, oh Jews! The army of Muhammad will return!"

Khaibar is the name of the last Jewish village defeated by Muhammad's army in 628. Many Jews were killed in that battle, which marked the end of Jewish presence in Arabia. There are Muslims who see that as a precursor to future wars against Jews. At gatherings and rallies of extremists, this chant is often heard as a threat to Jews to expect to be defeated and killed again by Muslims.

Al-Jazeera also interviewed a woman who said that the flotilla participants' goal was "one of two happy endings: either Martyrdom or reaching Gaza.

"The flotilla includes hundreds of Arab and foreign solidarity activists from more than 40 countries … They have announced their determination to use resistance to any attempt at piracy by the Israeli occupation." [Al-Jazeera website, May 29, 2010]

"Not really a "peaceful" or "humanitarian" attitude/mission, eh?

And what is this living in the past. 628? Do they even know the current date?

This is the mentality we are dealing with. They are living in the pre-Crusades and Crusades as 1000-year-old battles are relived in cafes and meeting places. It is like all of that happened yesterday for them. And they are mad. And they want revenge. And they are all looney!

Hamas is responsible

Israel's defense minister expressed regret for the deaths of pro-Palestinian activists in a clash with navy commandos. But is anyone really looking at how this happened?

The organizers of this flotilla carrying aid belong to a Turkish group IHH, and they wanted to PROVOKE.  They wanted the attention — they said so. But now that they got what they wanted, they blame the other side.  And as usual, Europe and America are just too stupid to see it.

Israel is in the horrible position of being surrounded by countries and religious nuts who want to kill them. Do you seriously expect them to allow it to happen? Are you an idiot?

They live their daily lives with all measures of security in place — because they HAVE TO!

No one can just run ships into port. And why is that? Because Hamas had violently seized the territory in the past. So it is Hamas that is responsible for the blockade in the first place!

Yet this group wanted this exact scenario and so they proceeded to ram right on through — knowing and wanting the response.  C'mon. Wake up and smell the coffee.

These are activists and what do "activists" do?  They poke and prod until they get the response they WANT.  They want exactly what they get. That is their misguided MISSION!  In this case, the mission was to draw attention to a 3-year-old Israeli blockade of the coastal territory — because of Hamas' attack.  But they ignore that fact.  I don't.

They were offered to offload at a different spot. They refused. Why?

And so they ram through the blockade…

"On board the ship we found weapons prepared in advance and used against our forces," declared Israel's deputy foreign minister, Danny Ayalon.

Benjamin Netanyahu's office voiced his "full backing" for the military. So glad someone has a spine. That is sorely lacking among the "leadership" in America.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas condemned the Israeli "aggression," declared three days of mourning across the West Bank and called on the U.N. Security Council and Arab League to hold emergency sessions on the incident.

Another one with a loss of memory.

There is noting brutal or aggressive in defending yourself.  That ship had no business being there – and they KNEW it. The Turkish group already admitted it! They said they wnated to draw attention to the Israeli blockade. Well, they certainly did that — but they are also responsible for what happened!

Stop blaming the other side and take responsibility for YOUR OWN DECISION!

Obama's cold shoulder approach to Israel should come as no surprise. It is suggested by White House apologists that Netanyahu just wouldn't accept the logic of peaceful negotiation and diplomatic/economic pressure so eloquently presented by the U.S. president. Ultimately the impression is given that the Israelis, led by Bibi Netanyahu, are hell bent on blowing up Iran no matter what is suggested by the wise Barack Obama.

If the entire situation weren't so serious, the White House's concerted effort in seeking to condemn Israel as an irresponsible bully would be laughable. The Obama portrait of a big bad Israel is supposed to show the Muslim countries of the Middle East that Washington is now truly even-handed. The Palestinians of all hues will dance in joy and the Iranians supposedly will understand the error of their way — or something!

What is needed is to COPY Israel's approach to terrorism. After all, they have been dealing with it far longer and with far greater success!

idiot teamWhy is President Barack Obama so obviously humiliating Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu? Why is Secretary of State Hillary Clinton negating everything she said when she represented New York state and piling on the Jewish state?

They want Netanyahu out. They want him to feel such pressure that he dumps his right-wing coalition partners and forms a new government with the Leftists Party Kadima, headed by former Prime Minister Tzipi Livni.  Livni, the one who thinks nothing of trading land for the illusion of peace.

On March 3, that same Livni said in a Knesset debate, that since Netanyahu took control "Israel has become a pariah country in the world." She is trying to use Obama's and Clinton's rejection of Netanyahu's course to force her way into the government. And Obama and Clinton are intent on helping her do so by publicly humiliating Netanyahu.

Netanyahu insists that he'd be happy to negotiate a peace accord. But, as he told me last year, "I just don't have a peace partner with whom to negotiate."

The Palestinians are expert at playing "good cop/bad cop" with Israel. The good cop — the Palestinian Authority — wants to negotiate a peace deal and insists on signs of Israeli good faith in order to do so. Meanwhile, the bad cop — Hamas — fires missiles at Israel from Gaza, land Israel ceded to the Palestinians in order to promote the peace process earlier in the decade.

Any peace deal with the Palestinian Authority will not be binding on the terrorist group Hamas, so it continues to seize the newly ceded land through elections or military action.

Insanity is defined as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

When Hillary Clinton and President Obama explode in indignation against Israel for building apartments in East Jerusalem, they deliberately miss the point: There is no reason for Israel to formulate  peace negotiations when there is no single person or group that is both committed to peace and speaks for the entire Palestinian people. Without a peace partner, who the hell do you negotiate with?

There is no one that really wants peace.  Palestinian opinion wants a war with Israel and the prevailing political authority in Gaza insists on the Jewish state's eradication. There's peace for ya.

And meanwhile, through American aid to Gaza, the idiot Obama administration is helping Hamas to solidify its position in Gaza and lengthen its lease on political power — the very power it is using to torpedo the peace process.

Whom is he really supporting?  The Muslims of course.
