When President Obama first met the Saudi royals, he seemed to bow at the waist. Heck, he was kissing the ring!! OK, maybe he confused him with the Pope. While the spinmeisters were trying to make us not believe our own eyes, this week should be interesting while Obama bows and shuffles to the Muslims…. while smacking Israel in the face!
Visiting the Middle East and not going to Israel would be like touring North America and omitted a stop in the United States. It only makes sense if you interpret it as a deliberate slap in the f ace of Jerusalem and a statement to the Arab world that America’s pro-Israeli policy is changing. DickMorris.com
Now hear these terms imposed by the Saudis — and accepted by Obama — reporters can only cover the actual meetings but cannot visit or report on anything else in that country. Muzzling the press? Certainly no freedom of the press, but then why is everyone agreeing so happily to these outlandish rules? We can only hope some will push their bounds and see what the Saudi gov’t does.
And since when would an American president permit this shackling of the media and still proceed with the diplomatic visit without a murmur of protest?
Since when? Since Obama became president determined to appease Iran, Saudi Arabia, the Palestinian Authority, Hamas, and all of the extremists while slighting Israel and turning his back on democracy.
Obama is outraged at those horrible Israeli settlements. They have to go! They are the major threat to Mid-East peace! Not the Iranian development of nuclear weapons or its subsidization of Hamas and Hezbollah or the Saudi royal subsidies for these terror organizations or welfare payments to the families of suicide bombers.
