Mark Lloyd, Diversity Czar

FCC’s Chief Diversity Officer Wants Private Broadcasters to Pay a Sum Equal to Their Total Operating Costs to Fund Public Broadcasting

Mark Lloyd, newly appointed Chief Diversity Officer of the Federal Communications Commission, has called for making private broadcasting companies pay licensing fees equal to their total operating costs to allow public broadcasting outlets to spend the same on their operations as the private companies do.He is taking us backwards in race relations, putting an emphasis on race and ratios in employment. So much for getting along.

He hails Hugo Chavez – the one who shut down any opposing TV stations and rules as a dictator. He’s the role model?

The Corporation for Public Broadcasting is a non-profit entity that was created by Congress and that currently receives hundreds of millions of dollars in federal subsidies each year. In fiscal 2009, it is receiving an appropriation of $400 million.

“The Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) must be reformed along democratic lines and funded on a substantial level,” Lloyd wrote in his book.

“Federal and regional broadcast operations and local stations should be funded at levels commensurate with or above those spending levels at which commercial operations are funded,” Lloyd wrote. “This funding should come from license fees charged to commercial broadcasters. Funding should not come from congressional appropriations. Sponsorship should be prohibited at all public broadcasters.”

Along with this money, Lloyd would regulate much of the programming on these stations to make sure they focused on “diverse views” and government activities.Translation: censorship

“Local public broadcasters and regional and national communications operations should be required to encourage (aka FORCED) and broadcast diverse views and programs,” wrote Lloyd. “These programs should include coverage of all local, state and federal government meetings, as well as daily news and public issues programming.

“In addition, educational programs for children and adults, and diverse, independent personal and cultural expression should be encouraged,” he wrote.

He wants to shut down radio he does not like. Heck, he’s eyeing the Internet as his next target.

We are about to lose our right to free speech. Leave my radio and Internet alone.

From someone who lived under both facism and communism: This country is being taken over by communists and will become a communist country.

Shine the light on them and thery will scurry like the cockroaches they are.

Pay Czar's Authority to Restrict Salary Raises Questions for Small Business Owners

Ken Feinberg, Pay CzarI am so damned tired of being told what to do, what to say (what not to say), what to think, whom to believe, what to watch (or not watch). Who the hell are these people making these decisions for me? Why is Obama's judgment any better than yours when uit coems to YOUR LIFE?

Well, it isn't. And it IS time to tell them all to shut up. To shove it.

You know, when the news told us that Feinberg ordered steep pay cuts for executives at bailed-out firms, we might have cheered. But always question where this sort of power ends up. For now it is at OUR doorstep. He wants to dictate to small business owners – YOUR employers. The more they mess with business, the worse it gets. For us.

This Washington pay czar could have practically unlimited power to regulate compensation at any company that gets federal funding, lawyers say — even if his legal authority is sketchy.

The fact that Washington is again meddling with contracts — following a stalled attempt by Congress in March to halt AIG bonuses — has revived charges that the federal government is overstepping its bounds. Lawyers say Feinberg could be trampling on legally binding agreements.

But according to The Associated Press, the Federal Reserve is now proposing to police banks' pay policies — even for those that didn't receive a bailout.

Judge Andrew Napolitano, Fox News judicial analyst, said the government is embarking down a slippery slope.

"If bankers don't challenge this, if they supinely accept it out of fear of what the government will do if they do challenge … then you have a nation of sheep," he said.

"I don't think that anybody will fail to comply," said Sedgwick. "Any move the government makes can be challenged in court, but I'm kind of doubtful."

Baaaaa.

This Chicago-style of politics is disgusting.

Ron Bloom

Manufacturing Czar Ron Bloom is the latest in a long line of White House officials who seem to just love Chairman Mao. Mao, of course, is the loving former Chinese dictator who killed 70 million people during peacetime, so what’s not to love? Bloom also mocked capitalism, "We know that the free market is nonsense."  This is of course the sentiment you want from the guy trying to create jobs in the manufacturing sector. Glenn plays the audio and reacts to the latest idiotic quote, this time from Ron Bloom. ( Transcript)

So who is this guy?

He is a Labor Zionist – has been since childhood, sent to such summer camps and educated to be a socialist. Yes, there is that pesky S-word.

I had not heard of that particular faction, so I looked it up: Labor Zionism can be described as the major stream of the left wing of the Zionist movement. Labor Zionists believe that a Jewish state could only be created through the efforts of the Jewish working class settling in Palestine and constructing a state through the creation of a progressive Jewish society with rural kibbutzim and moshavim and an urban Jewish proletariat. more info

Van Jones, Green Czar, communistGreen is the New RED. This is the way my son put it. He is a Senior Economist in state government who is involved in regulating utilities. Government people are coming in and trying to force their views on the way Economists do their job. They want to force inferior products that result in no benefits to anyone.

So here is our Green Czar, an avowed RED Communist. Is that worth a few lines from mainstream media? One would think so, but not these days.

This Van Jones is William Ayers without the bombs. From the East Bay Express:

Jones had planned to move to Washington, DC, and had already landed a job and an apartment there. But in jail, he said, “I met all these young radical people of color — I mean really radical, communists and anarchists. And it was, like, ‘This is what I need to be a part of.’” Although he already had a plane ticket, he decided to stay in San Francisco. “I spent the next ten years of my life working with a lot of those people I met in jail, trying to be a revolutionary.” In the months that followed, he let go of any lingering thoughts that he might fit in with the status quo. “I was a rowdy nationalist on April 28th, and then the verdicts came down on April 29th,” he said. “By August, I was a communist.”

But he is not the only one. Hang onto your hats, wallets, beliefs, for this is going to be a bumpy ride.

More Czars than the Romanovs

What is a Czar? By definition, it is an "Emperor", "one with great power."

Houston, we have a problem. Right now, we have has 32 "Czars" imposed upon us. Ones we never voted for. Ones appointed to rule over us. Methinks we have a Monarchy!

How the hell did that happen?

Czars strangling us

So among the Car Czar-Drug Czar-Pay Czar-Border Czar-Energy Czar-Faith Czar-TARP Czar-Stimulus Czar-Health Reform Czar-Terrorism Czar-Gitmo Czar-Urban Czar *take deep breath* – we have a Food Czar who will now tell you what you can and cannot eat.

Is anyone else seeing a new Communist Russia here – complete with Czars?

Humor aside, these people have not been vetted, or been duly appointed by Congress, or legally elected by us, the People. It is wrong and unconstitutional according to Judge Andrew Napolitano, a constitutional judge in New Jersey.

In fact, the top-ranking Democrat in the Senate wrote President Obama a letter stating that these czars are unconstitutional. President Obama’s “czar strategy” is an unprecedented power grab centralizing authority in the White House, outside congressional oversight and in violation of the Constitution.

So why is being allowed to happen – to continue. Why has it not been challenged, first by the press. It is their job to ferret out these kinds of things and alert us, the public. Where is the outcry? Has everyone become part of the sheep herd?

The Founding Fathers specifically wrote the Constitution in a way to deny such absolute power to one individual person. That is why they required that no principal officers could exercise any power unless the U.S. Senate decided to confirm them. That was also why they specified that even for inferior officers only Congress could create their positions and could still require them to answer to Congress. The Founding Fathers were specifically blocking the type of centralized power that President Obama is currently exerting.

Fortunately, there is a remedy. Any person dictated to by any of these czars has a case to challenge their constitutionality in court. Any person whose pay is deemed excessive by Kenneth Feinberg, or affected by any other czar, could file a federal suit asserting that the order is an UNCONSTITUTIONAL exercise of government power, and have a court both invalidate the order and hold that the position itself doesn’t legally exist.

Then we could just ignore these czars, because they are simply private citizens, with less authority than a meter maid.
