Another War to Handle

Obama has taken the first step into quicksand and will find it impossible to extricate himself.  He has been lured by center-right governments in the UK and France to embrace the cause of saving Libyan civilians, a fight he probably cannot accomplish without ground troops and likely cannot win without regime change.

Even if Gadaffi goes, his clique is as likely to trigger a guerilla war as Saddam's did in Iraq.  The opposition rebels are Al Qaida. That almost makes me want to give Muammar a big hug. Now we are supporting the terrorists that want us dead. What a mess.

So we jump into this fray with both feet. Reluctant or not, he's in it now –  and the escalation begins.  From no-fly zones enforced by bombing to no-drive zones for armor policed from the air.  From protecting civilians to ousting Gadaffi.  From toppling a regime to stopping a civil war.

And it will bite him in the ass.

I fear it will bite us all.

Rev Wright and Marxism

Equating Black Liberation Theology and Marxism was put down as lunacy, in spite of its definition being just that: the mixture of Christianity and Marxism.

That was then, and this is now.

Here comes a new video of the inimitable Rev. Wright says, “Micah 4:3, Micah 4:3. Micah says God shall judge among people many and rebuke strong nations afar off. Can anybody besides me this afternoon name a strong nation afar off from Israel? Hmmm. That would be us. The U.S. us. Sorry, take it up with Micah.”

Wright continues, “Read Micah’s book. Now listen, neither Hannity, Beck, O’Reilly, nor the Tea Party wouldn’t like Micah. Micah sounds, when you read his work, Micah sounds like a leftwing liberal. He sounds like a liberation theologian, plus Micah was black. That would make him a black liberation theologian.”

“Teaching prosperity and capitalism has taken (inaudible) Christianity, Micah sounded like a socialist. Micah almost sounds like a Marxist. Read his work.”

What is the story of Michah? Pat explained, “He’s a prophet in the Old Testament. The far off nation he’s assuming is the United States because it’s a powerful nation, it’s far off from Israel. At that time, you know, a lot of nations were far off from Israel. Babylon was far off from Israel. I don’t know. China would have been far off from Israel. Russia would have been far off from Israel. Canada would have been pretty far from Israel.”

Pat analyzed Wright’s comments and said, “Micah was black, and Micah reads like a socialist or Marxist because if you read the Bible as he does, then all charity should come from the government.”

It's hard to look at these Democrats as anything but childish sore losers – running away.

Republicans showed up to work, argued and voted against it. These guys are acting like a bunch of 2 year olds who don't want to eat their peas. Serves them right for abandoning the state for 3 weeks. The bill now heads to the state assembly for approval. Get the complete details from The Blaze HERE.

Sore losers attack police (video)

And despite Obama's "Let's all be civil" death threats are flying to Republican lawmakers. See  DETAILS

Hey, how about tear gas? Call the National Guard. Then fire their asses. Jail any stragglers.

Alert! Do You Know What You Are Eating?

food supplyWhile mainstream media looked the other way, the Senate moved forward to bring   S 510 forward for a floor vote, just before Thanksgiving Break. The timing of this tactic was no accident. The Democrats are now hoping to pass this "most dangerous legislation in history" without general public notice or resistance.

After a historic election in which Americans voted for SMALLER GOVERNMENT, LESS BUREACRACY AND CUTTING COSTS – what have we gotten, so far, instead: TSA airport assaults on our personal privacy – and now planned FDA take-over of what we eat!

Having succeeded in rushing the "Food Safety Modernization Act" out of committee – with bi-partisan support- a floor vote – is now planned – to pass this toxic FDA control package (including impossible standards and prohibitions on small producers.)  With the Senate back in session today – we are informed this action tops their immediate agenda. The only thing that can stop this step of the Progressive agenda is immediate, vehement public protest.

So, S 510 now stands out as their most infamous measure with "bi-partisan" support. Naive and/or self-interested GOP – along with "moderate" Democrats gave this a YEA 57-23. IT PASSED!

Since then attention has turned to window-dressing amendments to make this bill more palatable for some over others. (For example, Vitter (LA) amendment to protect his state's seafood industry.) We aren't fooled – and all of US need to let key Senators know they musn't be either.

Amendments or not, THIS IS A BAD BILL! However disguised its intention is to rid the U.S. of small natural producers in favor of expanding big pharma & chemical corporation invasion of our food supply. The politicking surrounding this bill has gotten so insane, GOP supporters are now bragging they've gotten agreement to remove JAIL TERMS for FARMERS – as if that makes the rest of the FDA increased budget and powers OK!

The GOVERNMENT passes now for GOD.

Gadsen Plate

Dont Tread On Me

Look at this license plate! If you live in Virginia, you might have that option in January.

The Gadsen flag with it’s popular “Don’t Tread on Me” mantra could be coming to a vehicle license plate near you — if you live in Virginia.

“The citizens of Virginia will soon be able to express their support for smaller government and protest the Federal Government’s intrusion into the affairs of private citizens,” the Richmond, VA 9/12 project website says. “How? With license plates that make a statement!”

The group has introduced state legislation that would make Gadsen-themed license plates an official option for residents.

The group collected the 475 signatures necessary to get the plates and the appropriate legislation considered, which the legislature will do in January.

But the group‘s work isn’t over. If the bill makes it past the legislature and is signed into law, the Department of Motor Vehicles needs 350 applications to establish the specialized identifiers. The plates will cost only $10, and the group is encouraging VA residents to fill out an application form.

Similar 'proposals' are in place in Texas.
