The charge: The Tucson massacre is a consequence of the “climate of hate” created by Sarah Palin, the Tea Party, Glenn Beck, Obamacare opponents, and sundry other liberal bêtes noires.
The verdict: Rarely in American political discourse has there been a charge so reckless, so scurrilous, and so unsupported by evidence.

Just one look at his mug shot tells us this guy is somewhere way out there that we cannot even imagine.
No wonder a classmate of his said “I sit by the door with my purse handy,” so that she could get out fast when the shooting began. She emailed friends that she expected to see his picture on TV after he had perpetrated a mass murder.
As killers go, Jared Loughner is not reticent. Yet among all his writings, postings, videos, and other ravings — and in all the testimony from people who knew him — there is not a single reference to any of these people in politics. The one and only one he hated and wanted revenge on, is the Congresswoman — and that stemmed from a meeting in 2007.
Boehner did not put him up to it. Sarah Palin did not whisper in his ear. The Tea Party is as far from his viewpoints as one can be.
His favorite books are the Communist Manifesto and Mein Kampf. Hardly in the library of any Conservative I know.
He posted US flag burnings on YouTube. The Tea Party would have been completely against him and his viewpoints. His acquaintances describe him as "Liberal". Well, how about that?
Gee, nothing to say Paul Krugman?
No, the Liberals and Leftists are trying to make something out of this to benefit themselves.
Never mind Truth. Never mind a 9-year-old dead girl is just a means to an end for them.
And how low is that?
