Fast & Furious is on Obama and Eric Holder.

Not a single Democrat would stand for it, much less defend it, if it were started by Republicans.

I am so sick of the double standard and the lies.

Eric Holder is a disgrace.

And he proclaims

A shameful display endorsed and even encouraged by Obama is to take place today.

The United Nations Human Rights Council, a gang of 47 nations that includes real rights violators like China, Cuba, Libya and Saudi Arabia, meets in Geneva on Friday, with the intention of condemning the US!

When did we stone women for minor (or any) infractions (like in Iran, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia – take your pick)? When did we endorse the beating of women if they were not totally covered up in a cocoon of black? When did we shoot down citizens just for expressing an opinion (Iran and Remember Neda)?

No, we stand accused — that the U.S. discriminates against Muslims, that its police are barbaric, and that it has been holding political prisoners behind bars for years.

It's a dog-and-pony-show of UN proportions, of Obama proportions.

Shame on you Obama for turning on your US family, against 'we the people'. When you think one of us has behaved badly (i.e. challenged your authority) you treat us like bad children who need to be "punished".

Meanwhile, you are taking your other Show on the road to India to waste $200 million to unionize India. Just what we need. More unions to destroy business.

Shame.

– Water is our life – it's our jobs and it's our food –

The Environmentalists are destroying this country and millions of lives with it.

Because of them and their little delta smelt fish, water was literally shut off to farms in central California, one the richest agricultural regions in the country.

Unemployment rates are now 40% because of the water being shut off. Hundreds of acres of crops are now dead. One million acres of fields and orchards also have no above ground water supply. People have to go to food banks for food. Fruits and vegetable prices have skyrocketed in central California.

Environmentalists are tripping over themselves to preserve every species that crawls, squirms, swims or flys (sic) but they are content to let humans die," claimed Nunes. " And now they have a government that agrees with them. This Congress and our President have chosen fish over people in my state."

– Obfuscation –

Here comes Harry Reid and his Energy and Climate legislation Bill. Just call it what it is – a huge tax on energy that will hit all of us. Yet the kool-aid drinkers still parrot Obama's lies about taxes not increasing for those who make less that $250,000.

So, does that mean that you, Obama, will pay my new electric and gas bills? Will you pick up the tab for gasoline and diesel fuel too?

I thought not – so you ARE a liar.

Senator Reid’s twenty-pound bill will be laden with lofty language about “clean energy,” energy conservation, “green jobs,” reducing “dangerous” power plant emissions, ending our “addiction” to oil, creating a renewable economy, and saving the planet from “imminent climate disaster.”

And all that climate crap is just that – crap.

The IPCC Lies.

Suppressed Climate Report

– Dire Straights –

So, what is in our future as Obama and his minions impose their will on us. From the June 17 report by Charles River Associates:

tri Increase average gasoline and diesel prices by up to 80% in five years, and 170% within ten years – sending regular gasoline prices soaring to nearly $5 per gallon by 2020 and $7.50 per gallon by 2025 (assuming other international price pressures remain unchanged);

tri Spur sharp cost increases for petrochemicals in plastics, pharmaceuticals and other vital products;

tri Reduce employment and consumer demand significantly, by increasing the cost of transporting people, equipment, supplies, raw materials, food and finished products – for work, school, healthcare, business, manufacturing, vacation and other purposes;

tri Cut business investment by $200-320 billion annually, compared to the no-LCFS baseline;

tri Slash gross domestic product by $410-750 billion annually by 2025;

tri Cost 2.3 million to 4.5 million American jobs, including up to 1.5 million in manufacturing and 3.0 million in the service sector; and

tri Force household purchasing power downward by $1,400 to $2,400 for a family of four by 2025 – impacting minority, elderly and other low and fixed income families worst of all.

Be alert. Speak out. And beware of energy and climate dictators and charlatans, and any lame duck session that may come after citizens vote to replace many of the control freaks on Capitol Hill.

The Quest to Control Gold

Inflation is a quiet but effective way for the government to transfer resources from the people to itself, without raising taxes.

Ben Vernanke

The Gold Standard

One of the many slick tricks of the Obama administration was to hide rules governing the sale of gold – in the healthcare bill!

As long as the US was on the gold standard, they could only print as much money as they had gold, since the gold backed the paper money. What this meant, was that anyone could turn in their dollars to the government and get the gold which secured it. Just try doing that now!

This gold standard prevented politicians from taking over the economy, so they got rid of it in 1933. FDR was the one who did the deed and yes, he was a big-time progressive.

Being on the gold standard prevented the government from printing  more money and repaying the owners of government bonds with dollars that are cheaper than the dollars with which the bonds were bought. In other words, politicians cannot cheat people as easily.

But, even with the gold standard gone, the ability of private individuals to buy gold reduces the ability of the government to steal the value of their money by printing more money.

Inflation

A hundred dollar bill would buy less in 1998 than a $20 bill would buy in the 1960s. Think about that. Anyone who has saved their money over those years would have lost 80 percent of its value, because your cash is safe from politicians who control the printing presses.

That is why some people buy gold when inflation seems imminent. When many people exchange their dollars for gold, they are not subject to the very inflation that lets the politicians take them from you.

Because so many have experienced this bad Obama economy, gold sales have risen dramatically.

Indeed, freedom in general cramps the government's style. Those on the left may not be against freedom in general. But, at every turn, they find the freedoms granted by the Constitution of the United States hampering the left's agenda of imposing their superior wisdom and virtue on the rest of us.

The desire to restrain or control the buying and selling of gold is just one of the many signs of the inherent conflict between the freedom of the individual and the Left's attempts to control our lives.

Sneaking a provision on gold purchases and sales into massive legislation that is supposedly about medical care is just one of the many cynical tricks used to circumvent the public's right to know how they are being governed. The Constitution begins, "We the people" but, to the left, both the people and the Constitution are just things to circumvent in order to carry out their agenda.
Thomas Sowell

The picture above is of Ben Vernanke. Honestly, my Economist son could a 100% better job. He saw the dangers way back in the campaign.

Sliming Over the Truth

walter williamsProfessor Krugman and others among America's elite blame some of the rage on talk-show hosts such as Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity. Kinda.

What talk shows have accomplished is they've ended the isolation of many ordinary Americans. When the liberal mainstream media dominated the airwaves, Americans who were against race and sex quotas were made to feel as though they were racists and sexists. We stayed in the shadows.

Americans who were against big government were portrayed as mean-spirited and uncaring. We said nothing.

What talk radio and the massive expansion in non-traditional media have done is not only end the isolation, but more important, the silence amongst ordinary Americans. There are lots more like us!

Krugman says that what we're witnessing is "political craziness." So if you think our borders ought to be secure and think we should have the right to determine who enters our country, then you are  politically crazy. Americans who can find nothing in the U.S. Constitution granting Congress the power to take over our health care system are politically crazy. Americans who think a mosque should not be built in the shadows of the Muslim-destroyed World Trade Center are simply religious bigots.

While America's liberal elite have not reached the depths of tyrants such as Lenin, Stalin, Mao and Hitler, they do share a common vision.
Both denounce free markets and voluntary exchange.
They want control and coercion by the state.
They believe they have superior wisdom to the masses and they have been ordained to forcibly impose that wisdom on the rest of us.
They, like any other tyrant, have what they see as good reasons for restricting the freedom of others.

Walter Williams, Townhall

Obama’s Greed

Greedy Government Greedy Obama

When Obama is not blaming George Bush for his troubles, it is those Evil, Greedy Corporations who are at fault for whatever.

But listen to why Bogen Communications is not hiring:

My company has to write checks for $74,000 so Sally can receive her nominal $59,000 in base pay. Health insurance is a big, added cost: While Sally pays nearly $2,400 for coverage, my company pays the rest — $9,561 for employee/spouse medical and dental. We also provide company-paid life and other insurance premiums amounting to $153. Altogether, company-paid benefits add $9,714 to the cost of employing Sally.

Then the federal and state governments want a little something extra. They take $56 for federal unemployment coverage, $149 for disability insurance, $300 for workers' comp and $505 for state unemployment insurance. Finally, the feds make me pay $856 for Sally's Medicare and $3,661 for her Social Security.

When you add it all up, it costs $74,000 to put $44,000 in Sally's pocket and to give her $12,000 in benefits. Bottom line: Governments impose a 33% surtax on Sally's job each year.

Because my company has been conscripted by the government and forced to serve as a tax collector, we have lost control of a big chunk of our cost structure. Tax increases, whether cloaked as changes in unemployment or disability insurance, Medicare increases or in any other form can dramatically alter our financial situation. With government spending and deficits growing as fast as they have been, you know that more tax increases are coming — for my company, and even for Sally too.

— Michael P. Fleischer, president of Bogen Communications Inc. in Ramsey, N.J.

So who is really the Greedy one here?
