Andy Stern, Communist SEIULet's take a look at the new SA, the SEIU and its violent thug tactics — all approved by Obama (he's not speaking out against it, now is he?)

In fact, Obama has said that he has been involved with the SEIU his "entire adult life".

Andy Stern's motto is a familiar one – the same one of the Communist party — Workers Unite.
But he wants workers only on his terms and for his own purposes. Those that dare dissent are beaten to a pulp. Yet Obama approves…

"President Barack Obama issued two decrees today intended to corral millions more American workers into forced unionism while blacklisting non-union employees from working on taxpayer funded projects."

SEIU Beats Dissenting Worker

SEIU Beats Dissenting WorkerHamidi says he came to the hall to expose how he says SEIU union leaders are spending tens of thousands of dollars on a political race, he claims, they have no right to do. After he and a photographer walked in to the meeting, it didn't take long for Hamidi to be right out the door and on his way to the hospital.

We called SEIU union leaders to get their side of the story, but they refused to comment.  CBS

No criminal charges have been filed in this case. (note this same thread on other incidents.)

SEIU Thugs Beat Black Man Giving Away Flags — While Screaming the N-Word

Kenneth Gladney, 38, a conservative activist from St. Louis was attacked by SEIU as he handed out yellow flags with “Don’t tread on me” printed on them. His injuries included knee, back, elbow, shoulder and face. Gladney, who is black, said one of his attackers, also a black man, used a racial slur against him before the attack.

“It just seems there’s no freedom of speech without being attacked,” he said.

Again, 90-some days later, no charges have been filed.

Wake up America. This IS THE FUTURE.

Two EPA employees have grave concerns with Obama's Cap and Ttade (TAX) bill and posted their viewpoints on You Tube. Obama made them take it down!

Just imagine if Geo Bush had ordered the same of a video criticizing him!

First, let's take a look at these dumbass Carbon Credits.

Bryan Leyland, who is chairman of the economic panel of the New Zealand Climate Science Coalition, summed up not only why the European Union’s carbon cap-and-trade program i s a failure, but also why all carbon cap and trade schemes are doomed to fail. He told Scoop:

…carbon trading is the only commodity trading where it is impossible to establish with reasonable accuracy how much is being bought and sold, where the commodity that is traded is invisible and can perform no useful purpose for the purchaser, and where both parties benefit if the quantities traded have been exaggerated. … It is, therefore, an open invitation to fraud and that is exactly what is happening all over the world.

Reuters reported:

The British tax office arrested seven people in London on Wednesday in a suspected 38 million pounds ($62.6 million) value-added tax fraud in the European market in carbon allowances, it said. … “Those arrested are believed to be part of an organized crime group operating a network of companies trading large volumes of high-value carbon credits,” it said.

The Financial Times says:

Anand Doobay, a partner at Peters & Peters, a City-based law firm specialising in financial crime, said the ethereal nature of the fast-expanding multi-billion dollar international market in carbon credits had made them an attractive target for graft: “There is an increasing amount of fraud connected with them as a commodity. It’s trading with something that’s intangible, and that isn’t regulated in the way some other commodities are.”

Back to strong-arm tactics of the Obama admin. SEIU is his main advisor with Andy Stern visting the WH more than anyone else. (You'd think he might care about the brave men and women in Afghanistan and meet with the generals, but that's another kvetch).

In the middle of his Asian trip, Obama tells Congress to hold off on any investigation of the Fort Hood rampage until federal law enforcement and military authorities have completed their probes. Hmmm, what is he trying to hide? He's always in such a rush to do everything, but now wants HIS govt people [AKA goons] to have time to control it.

He even had the gall to say: [not to] turn this tragic event into the political theater. He said those who died on the nation's largest Army post deserve justice, not political stagecraft.

And this from the biggest master of stagecraft !!

NO. I want independent investigations.

Several members of Congress, like Michigan Rep. Peter Hoekstra, have called for a full examination of what agencies knew about Hasan's contacts with a radical Muslim cleric in Yemen.

Rep. Howard McKeon wants to go ahead with an investigation from the House Armed Services Committee.

In the Senate, Sen. Joe Lieberman, a Connecticut independent, said his Homeland Security Committee was opening an investigation.

Go Joe !!

Obama said he was not opposed to hearings — eventually. But he strongly pressed lawmakers to hold off until the probes now under way are completed.

Yeah, after he has destroyed any evidence he does not like.

NO WAY!

Judge NapolitanoSouth Carolina Congressman James Clyburn, the third-ranking Democrat in the House of Representatives, when questioned on the constitutionality of ObamaCare, said to Judge Andrew Napolitano, "How about [you] show me where in the Constitution it prohibits the federal government from doing this?" (regulate delivery of health care)

Rep. Clyburn, like so many other Dems, his colleagues, ignore that the federal government has only specific enumerated powers. The Ninth and 10th Amendments limit Congress's powers — to only those granted in the Constitution. So if the Constitution does not say you can do it, you CAN NOT!

One of those powers—the power "to regulate" interstate commerce—is the favorite hook on which Congress hangs its hat in order to justify the regulation of anything it wants to control.

Unfortunately, a notoriously tendentious New Deal-era Supreme Court decision has given Congress a green light to use the Commerce Clause to regulate noncommercial, and even purely local, private behavior. In Wickard v. Filburn (1942), the Supreme Court held that a farmer who grew wheat just for the consumption of his own family violated federal agricultural guidelines enacted pursuant to the Commerce Clause. Though the wheat did not move across state lines—indeed, it never left his farm—the Court held that if other similarly situated farmers were permitted to do the same it, might have an aggregate effect on interstate commerce.

James Madison, who argued that to regulate meant to keep regular, would have shuddered at such circular reasoning. Madison's understanding was the commonly held one in 1789, since the principle reason for the Constitutional Convention was to establish a central government that would prevent ruinous state-imposed tariffs that favored in-state businesses. It would do so by assuring that commerce between the states was kept "regular."

The Supreme Court finally came to its senses when it invalidated a congressional ban on illegal guns within 1,000 feet of public schools. In United States v. Lopez (1995), the Court ruled that the Commerce Clause may only be used by Congress to regulate human activity that is truly commercial at its core and that has not traditionally been regulated by the states. The movement of illegal guns from one state to another, the Court ruled, was criminal and not commercial at its core, and school safety has historically been a state function.

Applying these principles to President Barack Obama's health-care proposal, it's clear that his plan is unconstitutional at its core. The practice of medicine consists of the delivery of intimate services to the human body. In almost all instances, the delivery of medical services occurs in one place and does not move across interstate lines. One goes to a physician not to engage in commercial activity, as the Framers of the Constitution understood, but to improve one's health. And the practice of medicine, much like public school safety, has been regulated by states for the past century.

The same Congress that wants to tell family farmers what to grow in their backyards has declined "to keep regular" the commercial sale of insurance policies. It has permitted all 50 states to erect the type of barriers that the Commerce Clause was written precisely to tear down. Insurers are barred from selling policies to people in another state.

That's right: Congress refuses to keep commerce regular when the commercial activity is the sale of insurance, but claims it can regulate the removal of a person's appendix because that constitutes interstate commerce.

What we have here is raw abuse of power by the federal government for political purposes. The president and his colleagues want to reward their supporters with "free" health care that the rest of us will end up paying for. Their only restraint on their exercise of Commerce Clause power is whatever they can get away with. They aren't upholding the Constitution—they are evading it. source

…and its antics. They are up to no good.

Judge Napolitano

This White House is very tech savvy. It wants to "own your computer" when you sign up for the "Cash for Clunkers" program; it wants to monitor your browsing habits with "cookies;" and it wants you to report your neighbor if you notice anything "fishy." Now, it wants us to believe that the most recent Internet-related story involving third party healthcare e-mails is another mistake. Don't believe the government's excuses.

They know exactly what they are doing and aim to use (control) the Internet to shove its programs and bills (agenda) down our throats.

Something Wicked This Way Comes

The present administration has not even tried to hide its disdain and disregard for our privacy and our right to speak without intimidation.

The Supreme Court has ruled that the First Amendment protects the right to anonymous speech; so — ot cannot try to find out who or where or why folks oppose the president!

Second, the statutes that the president has sworn to enforce make it unlawful for him or anyone in his name to take our names and information.

Third, the threat to deliver cookies to the computers to those who communicate with the White House is an egregious violation of privacy.

The Supreme Court rejected the idea that the First Amendment permits the government to make and keep a record of the faces and voices and ideas of its domestic political opponents. The Court called this "chilling" the right to speak freely; in other words, denying it the breathing room that free speech requires. The whole purpose of the First Amendment, the Court wrote, is to encourage — not discourage — open, broad, robust political debate; and any inhibition, real or threatened, that comes from the government is unconstitutional.

And the Obama Admin, he and his cohorts are downright Nixonian with their constant attempts to villify and punish those they do not like (e.g. FOX).

Beware!

wrong way

The reason Americans do not what ObamaCare are clearly explained in a video by the Cato Institute on the Internet at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-1ZfFBMf8s .

Details about ObamaCare can be found in the article "Physicians speak out on health care bill – Many say the costly plan won’t fix problems" by Cindy Horswell on the Internet at:
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/metropolitan/6563705.html .

The Democrat’s 1,000-page health care scheme would:

  • Restrict the enrollment of people with special needs (page 354)
  • Decide what level of “end-of-life” treatment you receive, according to a pre-determined government-mandated schedule managed by a government “death” panel (page 430)
  • Build government databases which include your private, personal medical history (page 503)
  • Work to systematically “increase birth intervals between pregnancies,” opening the very real possibility of forced, tax-payer funded abortions (page 768)
  • Have the federal government serve as the final, ultimate authority on which health care conditions will be treated, dramatically increasing the likelihood of rationing (page 800).

Average Americans are alarmed by the $1 trillion increase in entitlement spending. They are incensed by the failure by Democrats to explain legislation that would cause 119 million people to lose their private health care insurance and socialize 17 percent of the economy, while leaving 36 million Americans uninsured.

So what the heck does this bill accomplish besides making a much bigger mess of things? We really have to be insane and stupid to place our personal health care decisions in the hands of a Democrat-controlled Congress.

Seniors are opposed to the $500 billion cut in medicare and the Government having the right to decide if health care for seniors is worth the cost. Those seniors exercising their freedom of speech at town hall meetings are accused by Democrats of being the kind of people, according to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who go around "carrying swastikas." Closer to the truth is Leonhardt’s analysis of Obama’s socialist actions, since the word "Nazi" is an acronym for National German Socialist Workers’ Party.

In his article "Obama’s Authoritarian Style" found on the Internet at:  http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052970204251404574341111401651266.html   James Taranto writes about how one of Obama’s special assistants urged supporters on the White House Web site of ObamaCare to report dissent: "If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov ".

If ever there was an example of a totalitarian tactic and an assault on our civil liberties, that White House website is it. Texas Sen. John Cornyn accused the White House of compiling an "enemies list" and asked Obama to halt the collection of information on Americans who are merely exercising their constitutional right to seek from the Government a redress of grievances. A video of Sen. Cornyn can be found on the Internet at:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-QLpErbWGLA  and an article at:  http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/news/politics/state/stories/DN-cornynflag_06nat.ART.State.Edition1.4bb4d44.html
