Greedy Government Greedy Obama

When Obama is not blaming George Bush for his troubles, it is those Evil, Greedy Corporations who are at fault for whatever.

But listen to why Bogen Communications is not hiring:

My company has to write checks for $74,000 so Sally can receive her nominal $59,000 in base pay. Health insurance is a big, added cost: While Sally pays nearly $2,400 for coverage, my company pays the rest — $9,561 for employee/spouse medical and dental. We also provide company-paid life and other insurance premiums amounting to $153. Altogether, company-paid benefits add $9,714 to the cost of employing Sally.

Then the federal and state governments want a little something extra. They take $56 for federal unemployment coverage, $149 for disability insurance, $300 for workers' comp and $505 for state unemployment insurance. Finally, the feds make me pay $856 for Sally's Medicare and $3,661 for her Social Security.

When you add it all up, it costs $74,000 to put $44,000 in Sally's pocket and to give her $12,000 in benefits. Bottom line: Governments impose a 33% surtax on Sally's job each year.

Because my company has been conscripted by the government and forced to serve as a tax collector, we have lost control of a big chunk of our cost structure. Tax increases, whether cloaked as changes in unemployment or disability insurance, Medicare increases or in any other form can dramatically alter our financial situation. With government spending and deficits growing as fast as they have been, you know that more tax increases are coming — for my company, and even for Sally too.

Obama, King So the President now claims the power to order U.S. citizens killed anywhere in the world.

Anywhere in the world.

No matter where you are, if you are on Obama's list, then he can, with no judicial oversight or other checks, and based only on his say-so, have you killed!

Does that sound right?

That's quite a power for an American President to claim for himself. More like a Stalin dictator.

Amazingly, the Bush administration's policy of merely imprisoning foreign nationals (along with a couple of American citizens) without charges — based solely on the President's claim that they were Terrorists — produced cries of outrage and unconstitutionality for years.

Oh the wailing and gnashing of teeth! Oh the names and unflattering images of George Bush that were seen everywhere. Not pretty.

But here is Obama doing the same thing. No, he is taking it a step further!

Where the the outcry? No wailing? No protesters in the streets? No media reporting?

Shouldn't Obama's policy of ordering American citizens assassinated without any due process or checks of any kind — not imprisoned, but killed — produce at least as much controversy as George Bush's policy?

You know, if this Chosen One is always right as he continues Bush's policies, then it makes George Bush right all along!

Fly Me to the Crescent Moon Policy

Ken Blackwell Speaking on the Arabic language network al-Jazeera, Bolden said Mr. Obama had given him his marching orders for NASA: Get American kids re-inspired to do better in math and science. Work on international cooperation. And, perhaps most important: find ways to “reach out” to the Muslim world to affirm their strong contributions to science and engineering.

First, we have to consider that President Obama is gutting NASA’s budget. He has scrapped the Constellation Program that would take Americans back to the Moon. There are possible resources there that could help all of us on earth with our energy needs. Former Sen. Harrison Schmitt, who walked on the Moon, says we could mine the Helium-3 that is abundant beneath the lunar surface and use it for nuclear fusion. Perhaps, perhaps not, but we are unlikely to know if we’re not going back there.

Second, why should American kids be excited about math and science when Administrator Bolden confesses that the U.S. can no longer even put astronauts in low earth orbit without help from other nations? President Kennedy led this nation to the Moon, but President Obama is teaching us to look inward. Under this administration, NASA has been grounded.

Third, this “outreach” to Muslims by NASA is, well, lunacy. Telling Muslims that they once led the world in science and technology is wonderful. They did. But that was before murderous mullahs took over control of Muslim societies and threatened with death anyone who didn’t toe the line of theocratic control.

I have a simple way for Muslim-majority nations to excel in science and technology: Have everyone read a list of Jewish scientists who have won the Nobel Prize in Physics, Chemistry, or Medicine in the past century. Then, perhaps, their leaders could stop their Israel-bashing and Jew-baiting.

The UN is filled with anti-Israel, anti-Semitic delegates who cheer Ahmadinejad from Iran and Khaddafi from Libya. These murderous despots have stayed in power by fanning the flames of resentment against the Jews. Khaddafi says he has given up his nuclear ambitions. I’d prefer Ronald Reagan’s words: Trust, but verify. Ahmadinejad is racing to complete Iran’s first nuclear weapon. He is thought to have enough fissile material for two nuclear bombs.

The UN has dragged its feet, resisted imposing sanctions on Iran. It succeeded only belatedly in approving very lax sanctions. These are far from the “sanctions that bite” and “crippling sanctions” the Obama administration have been promising for the year and a half they squandered in meaningless “outreach” to Tehran.

Where are the atheizers and arch-separationists on this one? Do they support “separation of church-and-state,” but go suddenly silent when the issue is “separation of mosque-and-state?”

What would they say if President Obama had appointed a religious freedom roving ambassador whose duty it would be to travel the world taking up the cause of Christians who are being persecuted in Saudi Arabia, Iran, Pakistan, Indonesia, and, yes, Iraq and Afghanistan? We’d have heard them scream like stuck pigs. Why are they so silent now?

This latest furor should not cover up the fact that President Obama’s policy for NASA is to go nowhere and do nothing. No wonder young kids in the U.S.—and throughout the world—are not interested. It was no small part of President Kennedy’s appeal that he pledged “to get America moving again.” And he did.

The current pro-Muslim and Obama's NASA mission to make Muslims "feel good" is at the heart of this and a very disturbing sign. The hell with Muslims' self-esteem! How about protecting American citizens and taking their side!

Obama to NASA: Build Muslim Self-Esteem

Give me a break!!

What kind of crap is this now? No more shuttle missions. No Moon exploration. But a big yes to Muslims.

In the video below, Charles Bolden, head of NASA, tells Al Jazeera that the "foremost" task President Obama has given him is "to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with predominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science, math, and engineering."

Is Obama the President of the Muslims? Shouldn't he be boosting the self-esteem and learning of American children? Shouldn't he be protecting American citizens from harm from Mexican drug cartels in Arizona? What the hell is wrong with him!!!

Here's what licensed psychiatrist Charles Krauthammer had to say: (Gateway Pundit):

"This is a new of fatuousness. NASA was established to get America into space and to keep us there. This idea of 'feel good about your past' scientific achievements is the worst kind of group therapy, psycho-babble, imperial condescension and adolescent diplomacy. If I didn't know that Obama had told him this, I'd demand the firing of Charles Bolden."

After 17 months of apologizing, kow-towing, bowing and begging for credit around the world, President Obama has shown what a real failure he is. Watching Obama’s handling of the BP oil spill shows he’s a negligent manager and a poseur who reflects poorly on America.

President Obama had an opportunity to show the world his management skills and the international team spirit that he brags about. Yet he did not bother meeting with Tony Hayward, CEO of BP, a British based company that is also the fourth largest company in the world.

In a spectacular failure of international cooperation, Obama (the "citizen of the world"), with his hubris and aloofness, refused the help of the 17 foreign countries that offered assistance. The international community, which previously had believed in Obama’s commitment to “rebrand” America’s image abroad, likely realizes that Obama’s rhetoric was little more than posturing.

Almost 54 days after the U.S.’ rude refusal of that initial offer, Obama, in a humiliating reversal, sent an appeal to other nations for the help they originally offered. What an idiot.

Inexplicably and stupidly, Obama was awarded a Nobel Prize, before any real achievement, for "extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples", but when he had an opportunity to act presidential and collaborative in the international arena, he screwed up again. Yeah, that was dumb.

There’s also the “unprecedented” level of arm-twisting, name-calling, finger-pointing, blaming kinds of intimidation that seem to be Obama’s preferred management style. Epitomizing Obama’s spirit of international cooperation, Obama first sent Eric Holder to gather details for a prosecution– not exactly a move to encourage international cooperation.

Remember the kow-towing? Americans have seen Obama hugging Hugo Chavez and tolerating Daniel Ortega’s 50 minute anti-American rants. Doesn’t Obama understand that these thuggish and bullying dictators hate the American way of life? Clearly, Obama doesn’t get it — or agrees with them.

Various, failed programs of the Obama Administration, such as the Stimulus, Obama’s faux-job-creation efforts and entitlement expansion have caused our national debt to rise to titanic proportions. We are forced to auction hundreds of billions of dollars of U.S. Treasury bonds. Unfortunately, China holds approximately $900,000,000,000.00 of that debt.

He has done so much for this country and its people, no? And all of this in such a short time!
