Now he wants to drop references to Islamic radicalism.
How many radical Baptists are plotting to kill us? Or radical Mormons? Perhaps some radical Episcopalians.
Counterterrorism experts from the Washington Institute for Near East Policy argue that the U.S. could clearly articulate the threat from radical Islamic extremists "without denigrating the Islamic religion in any way."
President Obama has argued that words matter, and really, we must make them "feel good".
Do you care if they feel good? I don't.
The Associated Press reports that U.S. diplomacy must sharpen the distinction between the Muslim faith and violent Islamist extremism, identify radicalizers within Islamic communities.
And that does not mean calling terror attacks, "man-made disasters." Give me a freakin' break!
It is Islam and Muslims that are causing these attacks. It is Islam and Muslims that are trying to kill us – over and over and over again.
Remember Maj. Nidal Hasan shooting up Fort Hood, Texas? No one dared approach him or report on his radical leanings. Now it will get so much worse. Obama wants us all to think of them as sweetness and light. Idiot.
Or how about Faisal Shahzad's attempted car bombing in New York's Times Square. Yes, he's another Muslim. Not a Baptist. Not a Catholic. Not a Jew.
The administration refuses to even acknowledge radical Islamic ideology that is producing and fueling global insurgencies. Ostrich politics will get us all killed.
You have to 'know your enemy' to fight him. Sen. Lieberman raised the issue in a letter to the White House, saying that "the failure to identify our enemy for what it is' is stupid!
"In my view, using 'Islamic extremist' and other variations of that phrase does not bring us closer to this objective," Brennan said in a letter to Lieberman. "Rather, the phrase lumps a diverse set of organizations, with different motivations, goals, capabilities and justifications for their actions, into a single group in a way that may actually be counterproductive."
Yeah, yeah, yeah. You and your boss are idiots.
