Global Warming Data Cooked

earthGlobal Warming data thrown out — to hide the fact that the Earth is COOLING.

Scientists at the University of East Anglia have admitted throwing away much of the raw temperature data on which their predictions of global warming are based.

It means that other academics are not able to check basic calculations said to show a long-term rise in temperature over the past 150 years. And that is also because the global tempos have DROPPED over the last 11 years. They want to hide all this because the Big Business of global warming is at stake!

The UEA’s Climatic Research Unit CRU was forced to reveal the loss following requests for the data under Freedom of Information legislation. Note: this was NOT voluntary.

The admission follows the leaking of a thousand private emails sent and received by Professor Phil Jones, the CRU’s director. In them he discusses thwarting climate sceptics seeking access to such data. See, he wants to HIDE it.

In a statement on its website, the CRU said: "We do not hold the original raw data but only the value-added (quality controlled and homogenized) data." In other words, the cooked data. The data they have already slanted to the outcome they want. Useless.

The CRU is the world’s leading center for reconstructing past climate and temperatures. Climate change sceptics have long been keen to examine exactly how its data were compiled. That is now impossible.

Shut 'em down. They are useless. They are DANGEROUS! We have idiots here trying to drop world temperatures (when they are already dropping). They could conceivably bring on another Ice Age. Oh yeah. That's real good.

Five Hidden Symbols of the Thanksgiving Code

November 26, 2009 at 4:42 pmCategory:History

No, Dan Brown is not involved in this one, but Bruce Feiler is.

We have secret societies, biblical imagery, presidential power, and lost books. A few years ago, I set out on a 10,000-mile journey through the hidden symbols of American life that became the basis for my new book, "America’s Prophet: Moses and the American Story." One afternoon I was invited to join the all-male, secret society based in Plymouth, Massachusetts that is the keeper of the Thanksgiving flame. Thanksgiving begins in America’s hometown when these men make their annual sail across Plymouth Harbor to the off-limits island where the pilgrims spent their first Sabbath. What I learned on this trip would forever change how viewed America’s holiday.

Here are Five Secrets of Thanksgiving:

1. The Secret Society That Invented Thanksgiving.

The Old Colony club is the “oldest gentleman’s club” in America. It was founded in 1769 to avoid the “many disadvantages and inconveniences” of intermixing at local taverns. On December 11 that year the club started celebrated the pilgrims landing on Plymouth Rock. Since the term pilgrims was not in use at the time, members referred to their celebration as “Old Colony Day,” later “Forefathers’ Day.” They ate baked whortleberry pudding, clams, codfish, venison, eel, and cranberry tarts. It is the first recorded celebration of the pilgrims’ landing and introduced the tradition of future Thanksgivings.

2. The Little Known Connection Between Thanksgiving and the Bible

The first national day of Thanksgiving came about in 1789, long before Thomas Jefferson described a “wall of separation” between church and state in America. The idea came from Elias Boudinot of New Jersey, who helped design the Great Seal and was the founder of the American Bible Society. Boudinot introduced a measure into the U.S. House of Representatives to initiate a “day of public thanksgiving and prayer” to acknowledge the “many signal favors of Almighty God.” When his colleagues objected, he cited biblical precedent. Congress eventually passed a resolution and George Washington issued a proclamation on October 3, saying, it is “the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits, and humbly to implore his protection and favor.”

3. How a Manuscript Lost for Two Centuries Led to Modern-day Thanksgiving

The fullest account of the Mayflower passage comes from the memoir "Of Plymouth Plantation," written by Plymouth governor William Bradford between 1620 and 1647. The manuscript remained in Bradford’s family for a century, unread by the public at large, before being left in the tower of the Old South Meeting House in Boston. When the British occupied the tower, the manuscript was lost for the next century. It appeared in London in the 1850's and was finally published in 1856, kicking off a revival in the popularity of the small band of pilgrims who landed in Plymouth in 1620.

4. Why the Pilgrims Preferred Thanksgiving to Christmas

The pilgrims were deeply focused on the Old Testament narrative of Moses leading the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt. William Bradford called King James "the pharaoh." On The Mayflower the pilgrims said their journey was as important as that of Moses. And the first thing they did upon reaching Cape Cod was get down on their knees and thank God for allowing them to cross their own Red Sea. Even the Bibles they carried on The Mayflower were emblazoned with an image of Moses on their title pages. As the Rev. Peter Gomes told me, “The pilgrims weren’t trying to recreate the biblical narrative. They were trying to fulfill it.” Their biblical literalism was so pronounced they refused to celebrate any holiday not mentioned in the Bible — including Christmas. In their first year in Plymouth, the pilgrims worked on Jesus’ birthday.

5. The Connection Between the Statue of Liberty and Thanksgiving

In the 1860's, America lovers in France decided to honor the American journey of freedom by building a Statue of Liberty. Sculptor Frederic Bartholdi chose the Roman goddess of liberty as his model but he imported two icons from Moses to bring her to life. First, the rays of sun around her head and second, the tablet in her arms, both of which come from the moment Moses descends Mount Sinai with the Ten Commandments. Two-hundred fifty years after the pilgrims likened their journey to Plymouth Harbor to Moses, the Statue of Liberty welcomed millions of immigrants to New York harbor with the exact pose of Moses at the climax of the Five Books. On the statue’s centennial, Ronald Reagan harkened back to the pilgrims’ arrival in America:

“Call it mysticism if you will, I have always believed there was some divine providence that placed this great land here between the two great oceans, to be found by a special kind of people from every corner of the world, who had a special love for freedom and a special courage that enabled them to leave their own land, leave their friends and their countrymen, and come to this new and strange land to build a New World of peace and freedom and hope.”

Since its inception, Thanksgiving has always been about the sacred relationship among God, the people, and America, the new Promised Land. At its heart is the biblical figure of Moses.

Lawyer Makes Hasan A Victim

Hasan et al

1. Nidal Malik Hasan in 2007
2. Anwar al-Awlaki who praised Hasan's actions. BTW same man, same mosque for two 9-11 terrorists. Connect the dots.
3. Nidal Malik Hasan's graduation photo when he completed his M.D. degree in 2003.
4. Senior Sergeant Mark Todd and Sergeant Kimberly Munley, who both apparently shot Hasan.
5. Business cards of Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan. link

An attorney for the terrorist Hasan says his client will have his first court hearing in his hospital room on Saturday. [break out the violins]

Attorney Galligan says he'll argue that Hasan should remain in intensive care because he is paralyzed and still needs hospital care.

Oh yeah? Put the bastard in a room alone with a pig — a real one – - and let's see how fast he can get out of there.

What he needs is an old-fashioned gallows.

Al Qaeda and such ilk are hate groups, people. Wake up and smell the gunpowder.

9-11 Terrorists to Blame America

Just like predicted…

Now their lawyer confirms…

The slime Muslim terrorists of 9-11 that will be tried in New York per Obama's orders plan to make it all about them and the evil Unitred States of America.

All this because of Obama's Marxist ideas to destroy America — yes in order to rebuild it into something loathed and unrecognizable to George Washington, Ben Franklin, John Adams, et.al.

The five men facing trial in the Sept. 11 attacks will plead not guilty so that they can air their criticisms of U.S. foreign policy, the lawyer for one of the defendants said Sunday.

Scott Fenstermaker, the lawyer for accused terrorist Ali Abd al-Aziz Ali, said the men would not deny their role in the 2001 attacks but "would explain what happened and why they did it."

SLIDESHOW: 9/11 Terror Detainees Face Trial in N.Y.

Ammar al-Baluchi, is a nephew of gloating 9/11 mastermind. They all plan to explain "their assessment of American foreign policy," Fenstermaker said — and of course that is negative.

Gee, do I care? They all should DIE. But probably won't because of another wrinkle I believe is planned by Obama.  Germany has evidence to be used in this trial since three of the terrorists lived there for a while.

Germany is sending a rep over here to make sure *get this* that their evidence is NOT used to get the death penalty.

So they will get off basically, and Obama can point the finger at Germany, but in the end, he is getting what he wants.

Dick Morris
Joseph Stubbs, president of the American College of Physicians — the second-largest doctors' group in the country — confirms that "the supply of doctors just won't be there" for the 30 million new patients. This doctor shortage is "already a catastrophic crisis," Stubbs noted that underserved areas in the U.S. currently need almost 17,000 new primary care physicians even before Obama's proposals are enacted.

In the meantime, according to Bloomberg News, a 2009 survey by Merritt Hawkins & Associates, a recruiting and research firm in Irving, Texas, found that "the average waiting time to see a family-medicine doctor in Boston…is 63 days, the most among the 15 cities" surveyed. By comparison, in Miami, it was only seven days.  Boston's longer wait is because of their  healthcare reformthe one Obama is copying.

Bloomberg reported that "as many as half of doctors in the state have closed their practices to new patients, forcing many of the newly insured to turn to emergency rooms for care."

Alan Goroll, a professor at Harvard Medical School says that we cannot increase the number of insured unless you have the doctors to treat them all. Makes sense, no?

Indeed, the report found that the Medicare cuts contained in the House-passed bill are likely to "prove so costly to hospitals and nursing homes that they could stop taking Medicare altogether."

As details of the doctor shortage, Medicare cuts, tax increases, penalties for no insurance, shallow subsidies and high costs for the uninsured all leak out, more and more Americans are developing qualms about the bill.

But within Congress, the momentum is the other way as the bill hurtles toward December passage in the Senate — regardless of the facts or common sense.

Of course, they are tyring to lessen the burden of patients upon doctorts by denying care from, the start. See And So It Begins
